Director of sales & marketing

posteskey responsibilities include: * develop and manage sales plans and strategies. * manage and develop existing accounts for hotel and group. * drive and develop new business for the hotel and group. * co-ordinate pr and marketing opportunities. * monitor team performance and results. * provide key interface with operations and other sales teams. * supervise and manage the sales team. * responsible of recruitment, induction, training and management of hotel sales team. achievement will be measured on the sales teams' new business targets and conversion * guide and direct the sales team to ensure consistency of brand standards and a high level of performance and service delivery. profil recherché qualifications and skills: - must have, as a minimum, a diploma or similar qualification in marketing, hotel management or related fields. - must have a minimum 10 years hotel experience preferably in international hotel chains. - must be presently working or have worked as a director of sales in a hotel. - must have a strong focus and knowledge of tour operators, wholesalers and mice business. - must have strong financial and numerical skills. - must be able to produce room revenue plan, budget and forecast, and marketing plans - must have good negotiation skills. - must be a goal driven individual with positive attitude and natural drive for business - must have good presentation and communication skills - must be a computer literate - must be fluent in french, arabic and english
