Overview


The Presales Engineer is responsible for promoting Microsoft solutions to Business Partners, preparing events and workshops, delivering trainings and demonstrations as well as driving incremental revenue and market share for the company.


Responsibilities & Skills


  • Help and assist partners in partnership with Microsoft, certifications, technical meetings, sizing, architecture, RFP preparation.
  • Advise customers on technical matters and recommend appropriate configurations.
  • Construct sales pitches and presentations & demonstrates product features.
  • Help customers maximize the use of software features.
  • Visit End User jointly with Microsoft teams and Partners.
  • Advise on appropriate partner training & enablement sessions for Partners.
  • Work with Microsoft products team on preparing & tailoring a prospect software presentation that precisely meets the needs of the prospect.
  • Work with Microsoft on demonstrations of the products that specifically address the prospects business problems.
  • Complete the business analysis and technical component of a sales proposal.
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals.
  • Organize internal trainings to update AMs and BDMs on the latest developments.

Qualifications & Skills


  • University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Three to five (3-5) years of related Presales or IT consulting experience, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Experience working with customers, sales personnel and/or customer services.
  • Experience in the related industry disciplines and technologies and related application experience.
  • Experience resolving more complex technical issues and integration of multiple products to create solutions.
  • Previous experience in relevant Cisco or competitive solutions will be considered an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Capability of managing virtual teams, leading and management of technical teams of business partners
  • Sales expertise in articulating technology solutions and establishing credibility and “trusted advisor” status with customer's technical decision-makers and business stakeholders
  • Results oriented
  • Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (French & English)
  • Ability to build strong trusting relationships with customers and partners
  • Ability to travel within the territory managed by our country office
