We currently have an opening for a Road Freight LTL Manager in Morocco . The successful candidate will provide Implement Road freight Strategy in the country as defined by ensuring on time delivery of road freight services. Individuals' responsibility is to ensure procuring best rates & handling the LTL
In this Road Freight LTL Manager position, You will:
- You will be responsible of the implementation of RFR strategy in country.
- You will handle all the LTL Flux.
- You will have to ensure realization of budgetary performance by setting and monitoring clear objectives.
- You will have to ensure operations are performed consistently with customer requirements and in line with company processes and take corrective actions in case of deviations.
- You will ensure that Saloodo provides consistent customer experience to carrier & shippers – considering local requirements as needed.
- You will have to ensure RFR Sales strategy and support Sales in interaction with Key customers.
- You will have to develop high performance service culture in Operations and Customer Service.
- You will manage contract with suppliers , establish regular carrier meetings and ensures that these are conducted for all key carriers
- You will have to review existing pricing rates an policies with carriers and network to initiate updates and changes based on market trend/current business requirements and maintaining strong relationship with them
- You will analyze weekly and monthly statistics
- You will have to implementation of RFQ process in the country for both domestic and cross border movements on defined frequency and providing desired cost saving targets
- You will have to evaluate and solution design for RFQ's involving Road freight operations for all domestic and cross border requirements with respect to country
- You will have to develop new tradelines and improve profitability on existing tradelines for both domestic and cross border Trucking with respect to Country.
- You will have to create bill, submit & collect timely before and on due dates & avoid bad debts.
- You will have to ensure to maintain excellent relationship with DGF EU and Freight EU teams to manage rate procurement and operations.
- You will provide the department profitability by improving procurement of rates from carriers.
- You will implementation of new TMS in Road freight operations
Now, here's what we need from you.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
- Deep knowledge of Road freight forwarding business from domestic and cross border prospective
- Customer service skills
- Excellent analytical, structuring skills along with Strong project management skills and ability to cope with multiple bids in parallel.
- Results driven and attention to details.
- At least 6-8 Years experience in product and operations
- Al least 6-8 years' experience in road freight operations for both domestic and cross border trucking with respect to Country
- Understanding of end-to-end process from freight and customs prospective for international road movements
- Team Player
- Good command of French, Arabic and English
