The Data Solutions division is the commercial data business of Moody's Analytics, bringing together a vast catalogue of data to help business decision-makers assess risks and opportunities. We are best known for Orbis, the world's most comprehensive database of public and private companies. We are also the definitive source of ratings-related data for companies and securities that have been rated by Moody's Investors Service. Role/Responsibilities :
Work within an agile team environment to perform software verification activities. Design, develop, drive and deliver high-level test strategies, methodologies and take a hands-on approach to see that they are implemented timely and efficiently. Execute and maintain the automated test scripts, assuring continuous testing process. Execute manual test cases, including ad-hoc and exploratory testing as needed. Document and/or review testing results working closely with developers and product owners to resolve reported issues. Implement CI/CD using by integrating Automation builds in Development Pipelines. Show strong expertise in reproducing, analyzing and finding the root cause for clients' issues. Work in an agile environment, helping improve process and define QA best practices.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. 3+ years of QA experience. Experience in exploratory testing techniques, or other Agile QA methodologies. Knowledge of various software testing methods (Regression, Load/Stress, Code Coverage Analysis, Acceptance, Performance) Ability to work in an Agile team environment and handle changing priorities. Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and tight deadlines, and work independently. Ability to communicate with and present to engineers, senior management and relevant stakeholders. Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Pytest, Playwright or similar). Strong SQL skills. Experience or exposure to AWS cloud services (S3, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambdas, Step Functions, Glue Jobs…) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake). Experience with distributed source control systems (Git). Coding skills with Python programming language would be treated as an advantage. Experience in Data testing and ETL testing is preferred.
