Nature of Business

The TELUS Outbound Consumer Sales Solutions provides extraordinary outbound telemarketing support to Wire line and Wireless TELUS Residential customers. The Sales team sells new telecommunications products and services and upsell the existing services. (LOBs include P2P / DUP, Renewal, Optik, Add a Tablet)

* Agent's Roles and Responsibilities

TELUS Outbound Consumer Sales Solutions performs outbound calling to wire line Residential customers to offer new telecommunications products and services and up-sell the existing ones. The team provides support to customers by recommending the best service fitted to their needs; assist the customers by advising them the best possible solutions to their concerns. Responsible for processing the customers' orders and ensure its completion

Profil Recherché

* Basic Qualifications

No age requirement
Work experience: 6 months outbound sales experience or 6 month inbound sales experience for Telco.
Educational Background: At least 2nd year in college /College Level (BS Nursing Graduates/undergraduates are acceptable if they meet the criteria on required work experience).

* Relevant Experience
Candidate with at least 6 months of Outbound Sales experience or 6 months of Inbound Sales experience for Telco is required.
Experience with sales approaches, practices and policies.
Aptitude for customer service.
Demonstrated competency in determining and analyzing customer needs and recommending solutions in a competitive sales environment.
Ability to meet or exceed sales targets and service level objectives.
Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to effectively compile information, analyze data and make sound judgments.
Must possess Personal Computer navigational skills.
Ability to effectively handle both favorable and unfavorable customer interactions.
Maintain a high level of performance under the pressure of time constraints and a fast-paced changing environment.
Hours of Operation:
Hours during which FLAs will make outbound calls to Clients (as part of the Outbound Services) are as follows:
12:00 to 21:00 – Monday to Friday (local time of call receiving area)
10:00 to 19:00 – Saturday (local time of call receiving area)
Sunday (closed)
The TELUS campaign requires team members to be available to work Monday-Friday, Saturday and/ or Sunday. Weekend shifts are possible, and the expectation should be understood that team members could work any combination of days during the week to meet capacity requirements for the TELUS campaign. On occasion, due to needs of the business, TELUS could ask for split shifts to support operations during the following events:
Black Friday
Cyber Weekend
December Holidays
