About the role:
Support the establishment of a best in class finance and accounting function. You will own transactional accounting with the focus on improving our current processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Own Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Complete bank reconciliations
Responsible for expense management
Execute multi currency payment runs
Support establishing the month-end close process for such as prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliation
Ad-hoc requests
Requirements:
Part qualified accountant (e.g ACCA, CIMA)
Xero experience
Worked at a start-up company or in a fast-paced environment
Proven record of process improvements
Control and critical mindset, not afraid of challenging current processes
Excellent problem solving skills
Highly organised and able to prioritise workload
Independent worker with the ability to hit deadlines and targets
