Description du poste The Bars Manager will be responsible for:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Resort Bars
- Maintain a proper staffing and supplies level to ensure service standard is satisfactorily met.
- Ensure the Bars service standards.
- Develop and update bars menus, as appropriate.
- Conduct daily communication meetings and briefings with staff members.
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage to be able to service and up-sell the product.
- To visit all of our guest tables during or after their /drinkmeal, to ensure satisfaction.
- Coordinate all aspects of service to include but not limited to:
- Food and beverage requirements
- Timing of events
- Special attention guests
- Table setup
- Special requests
- Complimentary dessert/ drinks etc.
- Billing instructions
- Authorized signatures
- Recruitment of new colleagues, training, and development of all Bartenders & Commis de bar.
What we are looking for:
- Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is preferred.
- A minimum of 2/3 years of experience as Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager
- French & English mandatory
- Standards driven and motivational leader
- The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for service, food, lots of flair and creativity.
- You will have exceptional inter-personal, management and organizational skills.
- Must be of smart appearance with excellent personal hygiene standards.
