The Role of BQT Server/ BQT Chef De Rang:
· Assist Supervisor/BQT Manager Coordinates the set-up and service of all functions in the hotel/resort.
· Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coac h, and discipline commis and casuals in the hotel's Banquets and Events spaces to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
· Assist with purchasing orders , and inventory
· The ability to be visible in the operation, recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons, both Event organizers and attendees.
· Communicate with commis and casuals to ensure operational needs are met
· Attend regular operational meetings when needed, to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
· Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and report immediately to supervisors
· Help to maintain and nurture a Great Place to Work for All
· Comply with Four Seasons' Rules and Standards of Conduct
· Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
· Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in other areas of the Resort
· Phone coverage and other direct guest communication
· Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
· Assist with service of food and beverage items in all Food & Beverage Operations areas.
· Assist with set-up and cleaning of operational areas.
· Take good care of BQT equipment during build up/build down operations and storage
· Daily, weekly, and monthly storage control
· Help the supervisors maintain track of broken equipment and replacement material needs
