Job Scope:
- Reporting to the Personal Care R&D Manager for North Africa, levant & Iraq, the R&D PC Deploy technologist is responsible for the landing of global and regional projects in the market. Formulation projects that sustainably drive value for our consumers, our brands, our business, and the environment. Working in partnership with functional partners (from engineering, procurement, and quality), brand teams, design functions, and external partners
- The role is based in Casablanca, Morocco.
- This Role is for a 6-month Maternity replacement with the Personal Care R&D Team
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive Deployment of innovations & localization programs in the Maghreb region ( Morocco & Tunisia)
- Partner with local brand building to provide relevant input and insight for the successful activation of products/brands in the market.
- Take charge of CID entries and Ministry notifications,
- Approve AW and prepare Pre-mechanical data,
- Manage claims risk assessment for the country based on regulations
- Lead local Demo validation and creation activities.
- Manage Flawless Promotion deployment from an R&D point of view.
- Provide/Create (for PM) specifications for every product in the market and ensure new products in the market match agreed UL specifications.
- Provide local technical insight to the organization, external relations, supply chain, and technical compliance networks
- Conduct consumer and competitor understanding studies for the local market.
- Conduct benchmarking studies and share them with relevant teams
- Translate MSO needs for the allocated area into appropriate input for the Categories/Development organizations (local needs, distribution/usage conditions, and secondary packaging requirements.
Key Competencies & Skills – Standards of Leadership
Role requirements:
Technical/Scientific degree preferably in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant Science or Engineering qualification will be considered.
- Experience needed
- 0-2 years in FMCG environment, with Product development experience
- Interpersonal skills required
- Business fluent English, Arabic & French is a must
- Solid verbal communication skills & presentation skills
- Fully operational in MS Office
- Self-motivated and keen to help drive change
