The Senior Buildings Solutions Consultant is a catalyst and champion of driving technical innovation for our strategic customers. The Buildings Solutions Consultants are key resource for the End User business model, enabling Schneider Electric to be our customers' trusted advisor. Their role is to develop, introduce and sell innovation and value thanks to their high expertise in customers' businesses. The Buildings Solutions Consultant will work collaboratively across the Schneider Electric organization as well as with third party vendors to define and deliver solutions. Working with Schneider Electric's local project teams the Buildings Solutions Consultant will influence the project design specification and support the deployment of Schneider's award winning EcoStruxure platform and the agnostic software portfolio.
Your role is to identify value creation opportunities with strategic customers and opportunities in real estate, hotels, healthcare, and retail industry across the Middle East and Africa, design solutions delivering differentiating value, support customer business case and become customer trusted advisor.
Expert in customer processes, use technology to solve problems and improve customer's bottom line while building convincing business case.
With sales, define account solution approach and set up successfully customer transformative solution roadmap
On opportunity: help the Sales in creating the quantified value proposition, make conceptual design of differentiated complex solutions, orchestrates Proof of Value/Concept.
Identification/generation of new business opportunities
Once project is deployed, is in charge with support of sales, of following up and discussing the impact with the customer
Thought Leader, Trusted advisor, Consulting for winning opportunity
Key contributor to community (best practice documentation, sharing)
Total value of generated opportunities with EcoStruxure Edge Control and/or EcoStruxure Software & Digital Services component

Customer Trusted Advisor - Feedback and proof points from customers and colleagues
Contribution to community (best practice documentation, sharing…)
Customer centric - practical project/sales experience, able to work with end user customer
Deep knowledge of segment applications, stakeholders, processes, and priorities
Confident speaker able to present at conferences and lead technical workshops
Comfortable in a technical sales support role, as well as with strong influence and convincing skills
Knowledge of buildings energy and sustainability standards and rating systems (ASHRAE, LEED, BREEAM, WELL, Energy Performance, Estidama “UAE” …etc.), BMS/iBMS, filed devices, security systems, energy management solutions, FDD, IWMS, IoT, cloud, BIM, cybersecurity, and their overall system integration
College degree (Bachelors) in engineering with +10 years of experience in the buildings industry
Knowledge of buildings energy and sustainability ratings, standards, and technologies (ASHRAE, LEED, BREEAM, WELL, Energy Performance, Estidama “UAE” …etc.), BMS/iBMS, filed devices, security systems, energy management solutions, FDD, IWMS, IoT, cloud, BIM, cybersecurity, and their overall system integration
Working knowledge of relevant key electrical and automation systems specific to buildings segment
Great track record in the segment turnkey projects integration and architecture design
Experience with third party integration based on open and proprietary protocols
Ability to write technical documents and specifications
Ability to design systems from a holistic and systematic point of view, independently of the technical scope
Ability to be confident in front of all types of customer stakeholders and personas
