Position Overview
A great new opportunity has opened to join are regional finance team as Sox Champion Morocco.
You will be supporting all plants in Morocco across all business in all topics related to Sox.
You will also support the plants in implementing the adequate financial and operational controls to be compliant with the SOX requirements.
Additional duties will include (but may not be limited to)
- Support the plants in implementing the adequate financial and operational controls to be compliant with the SOX requirements.
- Train the Finance and plant's Operational resources to the SOX controls
- Follow up the status of the SOX deficiencies opened for the different Moroccan entities following Divisional Balance Sheet reviews, audits, or self-assessments
- Support and give guidance to the Operational and Finance teams about the most adequate action plans targeting the timely closure of the deficiencies
- Monitor and support the quarterly SOX testing until the certification step
- Liaise on a regular basis with the European SOX Champion about the remediation status to address the deficiencies opened, the progress of the SOX testing and provide regular feedback on the overall control environment
- Ensure through the yearly SOX quality reviews the SOX testing and documentation (SOX Portal, SOX permanent file etc.) is correctly performed and provides satisfactory assurance about the quality of the internal controls.
- Ensure the quality of the testing meets the required standards.
- Coordinate and monitor the annual risk assessment review
- Help and support the finance manager on country tasks (Financial statements, Legal audit, …)
To Be Successful In This Role
- High degree in SOX/Audit/Accounting/Management
- Spirit of analysis
- Good financial & Audit knowledges
- Ability to prioritize work
- Coordination of multifunctional teams
- Minimum 3-5 years' Experience in similar position
- Fluent French & English
