Four Seasons Casablanca is looking for General Cashier who infuses enthusiasm into everything he / she does.

The main cashier ensures the inventory of the safe, checks and verifies the means of payment, ensures the remittance of the funds and enters the accounting entries.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain a harmonious and professional relationship with co-workers, supervisors and all departments.
- Assist in cashier training and be available as needed to support cashiers in solving problems in cash handling procedures.
- Assist in other areas of the accounting office as needed.
- Ensure all local and corporate policies, rules, internal controls and procedures and safeguards are in place, as they relate to House Banks.
- Retrieve deposit envelopes from the drop safe for processing, accompanied by a Security Officer or the Director of Finance's designate.
- Audit cashiers' daily deposits and prepare the daily hotel deposit.
- Count, balance, organize and monitor own Bank and safe.
- Process foreign currencies in accordance to local policy.
- Prepare and distribute Cashiers' due backs.
- Prepare the Daily Cash Report.
- Issue Cashier Banks and assign safety deposit boxes for safekeeping of the Banks.
- Prepare and maintain a log on all issued House Banks.
- Make petty cash disbursements according to established guidelines.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance.
- File documents and reports.
- Report all cash discrepancies to the Assistant Director of Finance immediately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare and deliver reports.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with peers, superiors and clients.
- Clear understanding of the purpose and reasons for internal controls.
- Understand and be familiar with hotel quality standards and service standards.
- Strong commitment to service
Skills:
Education: Diploma in financial management
Experience: Experience in a luxury brands is a plus
Fluent in French, Arabic and English
Due to the local work permit policy in the country, we are looking only for candidates with a valid Moroccan Work Permit .
