About this role
As a Graphic Design Lead, you will be a creative thought leader with an excellent design background who will lead, guide, mentor, and motivate a team of designers in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
You will be bringing in your Project Management and Team management experience along. Will be responsible of managing quality standards of all presentations and graphic design deliverables, mentoring Graphic Designers/Senior graphic designers in the team and also need to do hands-on work on design deliverables for key engagements and projects on daily basis.
What you will do
You will be guiding Designers in the team from Juniors to Specialists, providing guidance, direction, training, and support throughout their career development Working on creative business presentations for various clients. Adhering to different clients brand standards and also work on creative slide design too Be a design consultant and thought partner for our clients. Ability to comprehend business concepts/ideas and turn them into meaningful and impactful slides. Provide options to slides if necessary to convey your design thoughts. Handling multiple projects with different clients. Work at ease in a deadline driven environment. Manage expectations of stakeholders effectively Take part in the interview process and take trainings for new hires. Sharing your knowledge and experience with and other team members. Do client calls and prepare scoping emails for project with detailing out the scope of the request along with timelines, milestone and cost estimation. Quality review junior team members work and coach them as and when necessary. Working Hands-on on key design deliverables for Marketing team or client teams. Executing complex and ambiguous briefs with minimal direction Converse in English language clearly and also write emails communications clearly with details and have a high level of customer satisfaction on your emails. Mentoring with junior team members on periodic basis. Do their year-end/mid-year evaluations if junior designers are reporting to you
Requirements
You're Good at
Working in partnership with key stakeholders to drive the execution of design projects alongside the team. Providing leadership and inculcating innovative thinking to our Design team and establishing rich and engaging partnerships with various internal and external key stakeholders. Sharp eye for layout design and awareness of design trends. Ability to coach team members and motivate them to deliver high-quality design deliverables. Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to attention to details. Should be able to deliver high-quality documents and lead the team to deliver quality documents to our clients Self-motivated and directed person, requiring minimal supervision for successful completion of duties. Consistent willingness to go above and beyond for project deliverables, as well as one's own development. Ability to work under pressure and handle a wide range of tasks and projects at the same time
Your Experience, Education & Qualifications
A minimum of 6 years in similar role Managerial experience Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts / B.Sc. Visual Communication or any Graphic Designing related Diploma Courses
