About the UCC Business Unit
The UCC Business Unit (Universal Communication and Collaboration) handles the creation and the go to market of communication and collaboration solutions.
As part of the Universal Communication and Collaboration Business Unit, the International Business Development team is responsible for driving profitable growth of International Unified Communication & Collaboration solutions (Voice, UC, Video and Audio conferencing) by developing and managing programs, initiatives, marketing, positioning and awareness with the regional Sales.
The team is spread over 3 continents, from Atlanta to Hong Kong via Europe, in more than 10 different Orange offices, offering a truly multi-cultural working environment.
This team is made of:
Business Developers: their purpose is to develop our revenue on their geographies.
Global Practice Directors : experts in a specific field (voice, conferencing or unified comms), they ensure sales and business development support and promotion, globally
The solution marketing team, in charge of the GoToMarket strategy.
The Head of Solution marketing & Communication will be the manager of this 3rd team. The team is made of 3 people: 2 apprentices based in Orange Stadium (St Denis) and a Solution Marketing and Communication Manager, based in Bratislava.
Description of the position
The Head of Solution Marketing and Communication works closely with International Business (Sales & Marketing), Product Managers, Business Developers and Global Practice Heads. He/She drives the Go-to-Market activities globally for the UCC Portfolio.
He/she is responsible for proposing and deploying marketing actions to ensure the visibility of the product/strategy and optimize the sales communication.
Your main missions and responsibilities include:
1- Develop the internal & external value proposition for UCC solutions. Ensure the interlock with other Business Units (Connectivity, Mobility, Enterprise Services...) to create some joint presentations:
Understand and analyze market trends, ecosystem and competition (new actors, new customer needs...)
Build and maintain the UCC value proposition and the ?child' value propositions (Conferencing value proposition, partners value proposition -Microsoft & Cisco, others...)
Create sales tools
Work transversally with other domains and create specific tools
2- Define and execute the internal and external communication plan
Contribute to the organization and to the creation of content for events (Hello World, Cisco Live, Sales kick-offs, Analysts Days...)
Lead Analysts relationship (Gartner, Global Data, IDC, Frost & Sullivan...) and ensure good internal and external communication on their reports
Drive and execute external communication plans (direct marketing, digital marketing - blogs, social media...), in partnership with the international segment marketing
Analyze the results and feedbacks
Handle internal communication around UCC products: UCC newsletter, animation of the « UCC International * Plazza space
3- Ensure the Go To Market of the UCC portfolio:
Develop sales tools to present UCC solutions and keep them up to date (internal and external presentations ...)
Communicate towards sales people (incl. training)
Keep our Axiome database up to date
4- Lead the UCC international channel management
Organize and animate the monthly UCC Champions Calls, gathering 100+ international sales and pre-sales, to inform them about new market trends, products evolutions and latest case studies...
Create and launch specific plans to boost sales in the regions, working closely with regional marketing teams and business development
Create sales tools to support UCC Champions
Communicate on the UCC « success stories *: maintain the customer references booklet (both internal & external). Create external references if possible (video testimonials or press releases)
5- Specifically, lead the marketing stream of a program launched together with our one of our key partner:
Develop the partner & Orange joint value proposition
Define and execute the specific marketing initiatives (Account-Based Marketing, Digital communication plan + internal communication), working closely with international segment marketing & International Business Regions
Follow-up and analyze the Return On Investment of the initiatives
6. Manage a team of 3 people (2 apprentices based in Saint Denis and a Solution Marketing & communication manager based in Bratislava)
Define their objectives and support their upskilling process
