Your Profile:
- Level of Studies : Master's degree in business administration or similar
- Experience:
- Minimum 7 years experience in Purchasing, strategic negotiations and Automotive Industry
- Experience in Leadership positions and Team Management
- Experience in Purchasing and contract negotiations
- Experience in automotive industry - stress and change management
- Languages: Fluent in English
Main Responsabilities:
Task Detailed description of main activities
Strategic Tasks - Assure efficient representativity & presence of the indirect SM function in the Region.
- Develop, maintain and manage a highly skilled and motivated people.
- Be open mind and change driver to support the organization challenges.
- Create a passionate, collaborative and motivated work environment
- Supervise the Functional and indirect Material Budget of the Region; understanding Spend and the deviations, leading activity to reach the Region target ( Budget, Forecast)
- Develop and Deploy the purchasing strategy at local and regional level for the major local suppliers spends (leverage and synergy between plants).
- Work in close coordination and collaboration with the category teams to ensure strategies alligment.
- Monitor & Lead indirect material Performance results for the Region and, in case of GAPs, drive action plans definition and implementation, with the activity owner.
- Lead negotiations with local strategic partners using cost model analysis and understanding
-Support on Building & Managing local supplier panel.
- Promote good communication of Purchasing processes, procedures, and tools amongst plant functions, reinforce and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with Yazaki rules and processes in the Region
Operational Tasks - Lead and manage the Indirect Purchasing organization in Region. Set and control individual targets through metrics and through One HR evaluation processEnsure all positions are fieled with the appropriate skilled - right person in the right place
- Work closely with local HR to identify high potentials and to ensure proper development plan
- Ensure standardize work/ processes between all plants in the region - share best practices with other regions
- Ensure all sites in the region are using standardized processes and tools in line with Yazaki standards and processes
- Lead and drive localization and cost saving initiatives for the region in line with the Category Strategies
- Understand the finacial impact of Indirect in the plants P&L.
- Work closely with finance and controlling to ensure appropriate reporting and recognition of indirect performance
- Support the local buyers negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best performance for Yazaki
- Work closely with Cost engineering team for cost analysis and understanding - Know the buy!
- Promote collaboration & partnership with internal stakholders and with suppliers

- Update skills and know-how on negotiation skills, market, tools and global purchasing best practices
- Refine communication skills by effectively and sensitively coorperating in a cross-cultural environment
