HSE supervisor


As a HSE supervisor at Honeywell, in Morocco, you will be responsible for implementing effective Health, Safety, and Environmental management system, maintain regulatory compliance and Provide leadership and technical support to ensure compliance with applicable corporate and regulatory requirements, while minimizing the risk of potential adverse HSE events. This is a hybrid role, 3 + 2 days model.

Key requirements


  • Ensure Compliance to Honeywell corporate requirements, programs, and local legislation. Addresses roles and responsibilities advises all HSE action owners as needed.
  • Represents HPS business within own jurisdiction in current hierarchy. Cooperates with regional HSE structures as well as internal customers for respective businesses.
  • Establish relationships and processes with HPS business managers and Regional HSE leaders to influence all employees to meet HSE goals and objectives and Standard Work activities as per roles and responsibilities within the organization under jurisdiction.
  • Ensures desired performance is achieved in area of jurisdiction, playbook (HSE) activities are followed by Honeywell employees.
  • Facilitate a change to Honeywell culture toward a safe working environment by enhancing the knowledge, skills and attitudes of Honeywell employees and Sub-contractors.
  • Advise management on HS&E matters as they affect all aspects in the region.
  • Participate in and support the Crisis and Emergency Management Team. 
  • Drafts and facilitates improvement plans as appropriate.
  • Develops and deploys HSE procedures, training, internal and external communications in liaison with Corporate, division policy/procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Supports incident investigation activities, root cause analysis, corrective action identification and closure. 
  • Works closely with leaders to measure and communicate HSE performance. 
  • Implements environmental management processes, including management of waste, and pollution prevention. 

Key skills and qualifications


· Diploma in health, safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, or related discipline.


· Comprehensive experience in Health, Safety, Environmental.


· Experience in a mining or related environment preferred.


· Comprehensive and technical knowledge of the following aspects is essential: ergonomics, safety engineering, occupational hygiene, behavior-based safety, permit to work, discharge permitting, waste characterizations, Hazardous waste regulations,


· A clear understanding and interpretation of HSE laws and regulations.


· Self-motivated with Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


· Preferred English language skills.


· Good working knowledge of MS office.
