APM Terminals Tangier is looking for a passionate and experienced IT Manager to join our IT function as an IT Operations team Lead. As a team leader, you will provide leadership to
IT infrastructure team whilst ensuring set SLAs and objectives are met and that the best possible IT service is delivered to all users. This position reports to the Regional IT Manager
This role requires someone who has a strong background and knowledge of IT networks, server’s infrastructure and operating systems coupled with the proven ability to lead a team.
You will need to have excellent communication skills at all levels and an exceptional customer oriented mindset with the ability to continually seek opportunities to increase customer
satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Your key responsibilities will be as the following:
Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to make certain network capacity meets existing and future requirements.
Responsible for ensuring that the company's network infrastructure and associated systems run smoothly, perform within agreed targets.
Testing network performance and providing network performance statistics and reports; developing strategies for maintaining network infrastructure
Plan, direct, and coordinate the design, installation, and connectivity of computer systems and network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s IT
Develop, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all new and existing network hardware, software, and communication links.
The holder of the position is also responsible for telephone, data centre, and other electronic infrastructure.

Experience/language skills required
Minimum Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent.
5 years’ experience in IT roles with a minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience in a similar position.
Working language is English but ability to communicate verbally in Arabic and French is needed.
