Position overview:

Our future Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for Maintaining all Lear CS installations and equipment in safe and optimal operating conditions. Supervising and leading all maintenance processes & operations and managing the daily operations of the maintenance department, and ensuring compliance, safety, and best practices for corrective and preventative activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining all machinery at working standards
• Ensuring the availability of necessary tools and equipment
• Creating maintenance schedules and delegating tasks to team members
• Creating preventive maintenance procedures and checklists
• Documenting and preparing daily progress reports
• Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation
• Hiring and training maintenance staff
• Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies
• Forecasting and ordering of spare parts inventory
• Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Checking electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Create a culture of safety by educating employees on safety standards and expectations and the safe operation of equipment
• Supervising maintenance workers and ensuring they follow safe work practices

Key skills and Qualifications:

• Bac+5 in mechanical / electrical / Industrial engineering
• Minimum 3 years in the same position / Automotive industry
• Experience in maintenance operations
• Experience in team management
• Solid understanding of technical aspects
• Working knowledge of machines and equipment
• Understanding of mechanical power transmission and electrical power, mechanical and electrical design
• Knowledge of plastic Injection activity
• Good Communication & Spirit of analysis/synthesis
• High level of English & French languages, spoken and written
