Mission :
To provide medical and scientific support which will assist the company in developing its vaccine activities for the Morocco/Tunisia/Libya MCO and selected French-speaking Sub Saharan African countries.
Main responsibilities:
- Support local and corporate business objectives under the guidance of the Medical Head: French Speaking Africa, by active teamwork and interaction with internal colleagues and external contacts.
- Support the Medical Head: French Speaking Africa in compiling the Annual Medical Plan.
- Support the application of legal and company guidelines to promotional material creation and review. Checking of all materials and translations for conformance and working with the Marketing Teams in the selection of appropriate vehicles to effectively promote products without compromising legal or other guidelines.
- Manage medical information to ensure efficient and effective answers to queries, providing sales and marketing support without compromising medical ethical considerations.
- Support the training of immunology, vaccinology and disease aetiology internally for the Vaccine Representatives, other staff, and externally for buying groups, pharmacy chains and travel health professionals, HCPs etc, as required.
- Promote an image of credibility and accountability to internal and external customers in dealing with all medical matters eg information, collecting and reporting adverse events, training, support etc while simultaneously nurturing the interests of the company.
About you
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Medical degree or master's in pharmacy.
- Relevant experience in a Medical Affairs Role (MSL or Medical Advisor preferably).
- Fluency in spoken and written English and French.
- Relevant background in immunology/vaccinology/infectious diseases is preferable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including presentation skills.
- Results orientated, ability to build relationships across departments and to work independently.
- Be innovative: have the ability to champion the development, acquisition and implementation of innovative ideas, technologies, etc.
