The Oncology External Affairs Director is focused on making our company and its point-of-view heard at all levels of external stakeholders and at the same time building alignment internally across all functions on global and regional levels. Work location is Casablanca, Morocco.
In this role you will continue to transform the function with the help of your technical understanding, leadership skills, personality traits and active relationship network. In addition, you are a key counsel to the General Manager on matters of corporate reputation with regard to media, governments and the general public and leads patients access and policy shaping both internally and externally . The role combines strategy with operational efficiency, speed, and effectiveness.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead Policy, Access, Patient Engagement and Communication relating to Oncology.
- Develop and execute effective partnering strategies with payers and Oncology healthcare providers for the successful commercialization of our company's products in Morocco.
- Develop and implement strategies to secure access and reimbursement of oncology products.
- Develop and implement innovative healthcare solutions and strategies in line with the company's overall business priorities and strategy.
- Provide strategic leadership and tactical execution of the access and policy programs relating to oncology, as required.
- Provide advice on internal communications to enhance engagement across all levels of the organization, leveraging innovative opportunities through the application of digital technologies/ social media etc.
- Align with the managing director on the pharma, public and media relations in Morocco and the internal communications.
- Handles general policy matters in Morocco such as trade association work, engagement with AmCham and the embassy, representation of our company in universal health insurance discussions, and addressing IP and trade-related matters.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for an experienced, inspirational, and creative professional.
- Must be based in Morocco (no relocation).
- In-depth knowledge of the Morocco Pharmaceutical market is a fundamental requirement of the position, especially as it relates to pricing and reimbursement initiatives, data presentations, patients access and policy knowledge and experience and regulatory issues; an active relationship network to Morocco Health Authorities is advantageous.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in the Oncology market.
- Excellent understanding of the developed or worked with effective health outcomes strategies and dispose over an active relationship network in that space.
- Strong leadership capabilities, demonstrating experience in successfully driving significant change projects/ transformation initiatives with energy and impact.
- Well organized, results-oriented able to operate effectively within a complex organization and across diverse cultures cross- functionally.
