IQVIA's Real-World Solutions (RWS) department brings together a team of 90 multidisciplinary and highly qualified consultants in market access, health economics, real-life studies including database studies.
Job Overview:
Integrated into the Biometrics team, the Biostatistician joins the multidisciplinary project teams carrying out observational studies on a wide variety of subjects and therapeutic areas.
You will be involved from the design of a study to the presentation of the results, and contributes to the scientific committees, as well as to the work of publication.
The projects consist of carrying out observational epidemiological and/or pharmaco-economic studies on behalf of public and private sector actors. The real-life databases are public SNDS-type databases as well as data from IQVIA panels.
You will take control of real-life databases and IQVIA database with the support of a data manager, along with writing simple statistical analysis plans (PAS), and program and execute PAS with SAS or R, with the support of a more senior Biostatistician.
As well as conducting descriptive analyses, multivariate regressions, survival analyses, mixed models, you will interpret results and participate in the drafting of pharmacoepidemiological reports.
Requirements:
BSc or MSc degree in Biostatistics or related field, and 2-4 years' relevant experience within the life-science industry Bac +5 training in statistics, biostatistics of the ENSAE, ENSAI, ISPED type or Doctorate in Biostatistics / Epidemiology. Ability to process large databases or to deepen an analysis method and test it on Life Science data Knowledge of public databases (SNDS) would be a real asset for the position Fluent in French and English
