Description du poste Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
Responsible for the financial health of adidas Morocco in-terms of accurate book-keeping and
thorough financial analysis to ensure quality reporting, high control measures and decision
support that mitigates risks & exploit opportunities working closely with stakeholders. To
produce financial reports and manage the daily duties of all direct reports to ensure that they function in line with Group, IFRS, local GAAP and Tax reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely & accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing according to the company's policies, IFRS, local GAAP and Tax requirements.
- Develop and implement process improvements within the Accounting Team but also support other departments in driving process improvements in all accounting related processes.
- Ensure that all Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns, Other Taxes, Tax Reporting and Transfer Pricing are performed timely and accurately.
- Develop and implement various accounting procedures.
- To highlight control deficiencies to Senior Management and implement solutions to close control gaps.
- Facilitating external & internal audits during financial and operational audits. Continuously assess the internal control environment and plug gaps where necessary.
- Assisting in the preparation of the yearly budget and quarterly RFC.
- Support Credit Control team to manage Receivables exposure.
- Oversee legal & corporate compliance requirements of the company in Morocco.
- Manage Cash Flows.
Personnel:
- To staff most suitable persons in direct report positions.
- To coach, train & motivate towards development of team.
- To set personnel objectives, targets, guidelines and assess direct and indirect reports.
- To develop the functional, methodological, interpersonal and personnel skills of direct
reports on the job and off the job by trainings.
- To manage staff of Finance as a team.
Controlling:
- Measure progress on own KPIs.
- Monitor all allocated reports.
- Ensure adherence to group accounting policies and procedures and Local GAAP/Tax requirements.

Key Relationships:
- Global: ad hoc dealing with Group accounting and adidas subsidiaries.
- Regional: communication with regional adidas subsidiaries on intercompany transactions.
- Local: dealing with all departments within adidas (Retail, Sales, SCM Marketing, HR), external auditors and numerous other external parties (Banks, Govt Officials related to Finance Role).

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in business with corporate finance, financial accounting, management accounting.
- CA/CPA/ACCA qualified strongly preferred.
- 8-10 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in team management with strong communication.
- Industry: ideally apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG.
