Job Description:
The Strategic Account Executive is a pivotal role responsible for account planning, prospecting strategy, and executing the sales process for named and strategic accounts. This position will focus on high-value courier strategy, targeting accounts primarily in the Manufacturers and Retail sectors. Successful Account Executives will excel in optimizing daily activities, pipeline acceleration, and customer adoption, thus expanding our customer base with marquee clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a crucial member of the sales team, actively engaging with our expanding customer base aligned with client's core strategy.
- Achieve sales goals by identifying and onboarding new customers.
- Research and identify key decision makers and influencers within assigned strategic accounts.
- Customize account plans and outreach strategies based on client's value proposition and the prospect's unique needs.
- Schedule meetings (calls, virtual meetings, and face-to-face interactions) to gain a deep understanding of the client's opportunities and challenges.
- Collaborate with operations to develop comprehensive solutions that exceed client expectations.
- Assist in proposal development and identifying key performance metrics.
- Manage complex contract negotiations and collaborate with operations and legal counsel when necessary.
- Support marketing and sales admin functions, providing input on collateral, sales tools, training, prospect messaging, and templates.
- Participate in marketing events for brand awareness, demand creation, and industry networking, such as trade shows, webinars, and roundtables.
