To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Plant Sr. Buyer - Indirect Purchasing.
Your Profile:
- Level of studies : Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply management and negotiations or similar
- Experience: Minimum 3-4 years experience in Purchasing,ideally, experience in indirect purchasing and project work in automotive industry
- Language: Fluent in english
Main responsabilities:
Task Detailed description of main activities
Strategic Tasks - Deploy the purchasing strategy at local level for the major spend local suppliers
- Develop and implement local purchasing strategy for their specific purchasing products & services in -line with Yazaki Group Purchasing, Category Strategy and plant needs
- Consolidate, manage and standardize the spend by leveraging synergies between the plants
- Lead negotiations with suppliers and local strategic partners; preparation & presentation of the awarding decision
- Market analysis - review and validate RFQs and Sourcing package at local level, regional impact negotiations
-Build & Manage local supplier panel.
- Set the basis and communication of Purchasing processes, procedures, and tools amongst plant functions, develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Understand the Plant Budget and impact of the Purchasing actions in P&L
Operational Tasks - Knowledge and understanding of the purchasing processes
- Close collaboration with requestors to understand the needs and specifications
- Launch RFQ to potential suppliers with Cost model breakdown
- Analyse the offer based on cost model
- Work closely with Cost engineering team for cost analysis and understanding
- Perform and Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best performance for Yazaki
- Close coordination and collaboration with category team to ensure allignement with the strategies
- Prepare and present the project on the regional and global sourcing meetings for awarding decision
- Validate the local Cost savings in their area of responsibilities
- Work with operations to identify areas of cost optimization, implement actions
- Manage productivity plans for purchases falling within their scope
- Contract negotiation - standardize contracts for supply and services
- Manage local supplier panel

manage local supplier performance (scorecard)
maintain Approved Supplier List (ASL);
define target list of suppliers for RFQ
supplier relationships management
