- Designing and implementing new features and functionalities in collaboration with the design and content teams.
- Troubleshooting and resolving website problems and bugs.
- Optimizing website for speed and scalability while ensuring its responsiveness across different devices and browsers.
- Maintaining the quality and integrity of website code.
- Creating and updating reusable code libraries to streamline the WordPress development cycle.
- Providing timely resolution to reported problems with existing websites.
- Working closely with both the design and project resources to achieve project objectives.
Requirements Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor degree or equivalent.
- Fluent Written and spoken English
- Work experience as a WordPress developer.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Experience with PHP and MySQL.
Technical and Behavioral skills:
- Strong understanding of WordPress and its core principles.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Understanding of website aesthetics and usability.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
- Excellent attention to detail.
