Position overview:


The IT Infrastructure Project Manager Europe & Africa will coordinate the schedule, budget, issues, and risks of a project and will communicate with various departments in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page.  The coordinator will ensure the project management framework is well-organized and that it runs smoothly, and serving the whole region


Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitor project progress and create project status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Assist with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
  • Schedule stakeholder meetings and facilitate communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule, or scope statement, as directed by the project or delivery manager.
  • Execute a variety of project management administrative tasks such as billing and bookkeeping.
  • Support team members when implementing risk management strategies.

Key skills and Qualifications:


  • Experience in business administration, management, or a related field
  • Project management certifications or similar (applicable coursework will be considered)
  • Working knowledge of project management software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Software application implementation methodology experience (ie. Agile, SCRUM) a plus
  • ITIL service lifecycle principles knowledge a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • 2+ years of direct work experience in a project coordination capacity
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • PMP track coursework
  • ITIL certification/coursework
  • Leadership – act as a role model for peers
  • Communication – Can effectively communicate across all levels of the organization including technical and non-technical people.
  • Represents company interests with outside customers and vendors in a succinct and articulate manner.
  • Organized - Ability to work on multiple projects at once, prioritizing tasks and deliverables.
  • Collaborative - Good at collaborating with project team, executive stakeholders, business specialists, designers, and developers around the globe.
